Used to make bags and carpets, jute is a durable fiber. In its plant form, it relies on rain to grow with little need for fertilizer or pesticides. When rainfall in West Bengal, India dropped this year, the company began sourcing raw jute from Bangladesh, which proved to be a costly alternative. On the other side of things, the trader\u2019s buyers, who are located in the USA and Canada, were not placing many orders due to high inventory costs.<\/p>\n
To solve both of these issues, the company turned to Tradewind Finance\u2019s financial services for support. The injection of liquidity from the lender allowed the trader to pay their supplier in cash, a method that made them eligible to receive higher discounts.
