Tradewind is pleased to announce that Derek Binns has been appointed to the role of Vice President of Sales Europe, working closely with the firm\u2019s headquarters team in M\u00f6nchengladbach, Germany. As VP Sales, Derek will focus on supporting the Tradewind Group\u2019s client base all across Europe, with a specific concentration on countries where major buyers are established.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Derek has extensive experience in supply chain dynamics, trade finance, and e-commerce, as both a consultant and C-level leader. His clients have included major global companies such as JD.com, Amazon, Tesco, and logistics provider Hermes. Previously, Derek has managed parts of the Otto Group including their niche e-com services company Zitra GmbH. He has worked as E-Com Specialist and International Trade Advisor to the UK Government Department of International Trade, and has also held positions at trade finance companies Stenn International and Primadollar, during which time he served in an executive level capacity. \n <\/p>\n

Derek will leverage his background in supply chain and e-commerce retail, as well as his buyer network and end-to-end understanding of their business, to better serve Tradewind\u2019s European clients. He plans to apply his knowledge and experience in AI and SaaS to help Tradewind further digitize and automate their solutions to meet the requirements of clients in today\u2019s increasingly digital and platform-based global trading environment. \n <\/p>\n
